Can You Use Essie Gel Couture With a Lamp
Essie gel polish with UV instead?
I bought some Essie gel in the color Cavier Bar. I did my nails tonight and cured it under my UV lamp. It was staying viscid after a couple times nether the lamp and my usual routine, so I went online. It says to use their (of course) LED lamp and not a UV. It finally cured and looks nice, only what is the difference, are my hands gonna autumn off or something lol?

I wasn't aware Essie had gel polish. Was it the Gel Couture line? Those are not actual gel, they are regular smoothen with a gel-like finish.

You can utilize LED gel in a UV lamp but the curing fourth dimension is increased (xxx seconds in LED is roughly 2 minutes in UV depending on the gel) only you lot admittedly tin not utilise UV gel in an LED lamp. That's not necessarily truthful. If the smooth cures in the aforementioned light spectrum as the LED low-cal, the polish would still cure. There are some very specific polishes that can't be cured with LED (Shellac, for i) but many of them piece of work.
