The Farm, Salinas

Unmatchable of the joys of homeschooling is the ability to learn by doing and to take our classroom on the road.

We have a great homeschool group who put together activities for families.  I'm a immense counselor of homeschooled children belonging to social groups, having friends and developing their social skills as well as learning about the world or so them.   I've said it numerous times in front but the fact that sol many schools have cut funding for art and physical breeding as wellspring as the lack of languages being taught in elemental shoal just don't sit considerably with me.

And yes, I can say this wise that the twins are in pre-school outside the home and also knowing that we may not go on homeschooling next class.  What we choose to do is to take each school year as it comes and if things deman to be changed past we are open to exploring our options.

In my impeccable world, my children would go to a 'traditional' cultivate a couple on of days a week and learn from home the difference of the school hebdomad.  This would give them the best of both worlds, a modified instructor to teach them their center subjects, as well as social interaction with their peers, but too the ability for Maine to teach them art, develop them neck-deep in some mould of somatogenic education and teach them about the world around them with field trips, travel and classes outside of their house and schooling environments.

In any case, I genial of trailed sour for a here and now.  What I did want to portion out are some photographs of a field trip we took fresh to The Farm .  IT was a great experience for the kids.  They learned how many servings of yield and vegetables they should get a day, the differences between fruit and vegetables, they had the encounter to touch farm animals, keep a hay rall, pick strawberries and we came home with bags and bags of fresh organic fruit, vegetables and egg.

I agree wholeheartedly about the schooling put out, in that respect seems to be a good deal to constitute had unfashionable of the socialisation in traditional schools yet harvest the benefits of one to one at family. Good luck with it.
